ok so the vernal equinox was thursday morning at 12:48am but yet now there is over A FOOT OF SNOW ON THE GROUND!!!!! and any weather forecasts i look at still predict temperatures below normal, i live in the chicago area. any insight

Yeah, it's been really rough here in FL too ... can't hardly get the temperature to stay above 80-degrees for more than a day or two then it's back into the 70's!
