Thanks, PHM solves the hard reset problem, but the PDA still restarts
after running it.

The ipaq 3850 goes into battery disconnect mode on left-right-reset hard reset.
PHM does the full factory reset, but does not go into battery disconnect mode.

Battery disconnect lets you stick it in the drawer for extended periods without permanent
damage to the battery. I've got 22 pda's...I've killed more lithium batteries by letting them
run down than by use.

The 3870 just restarts after PHM hard reset.
The left-right-reset with the buttons results in a soft reset/restart.
Software issues surrounding hard reset solved by PHM.

Still need way to get into battery disconnect mode on the ipaq 3870.

Ideas?
