Hope this is the proper forum. I have tried the Tilt manual, a search here, and ATT support with no luck for what, I think, should be an easy question.
The Tilt has Wifi capability. I do not have a data plan. I can not access public networks (e.g., hotels) not my home network. According to ATT support, I can not access public wifi or my home network without a data plan. But wait!! According to ATT support, I CAN access my home network without a data plan and public wifi as long as passwords are not required.
A ATT in-store employee told me I can access wifi by installing Mocada(sp) NoData.
So the easy question is, can I access public wifi and/or my home network without a data plan?
