You can access your home network and public wifi access points entirely through WIFI and no data plan is needed. The only reason you'd need to get Modaco's No Data application is to prevent your Tilt from automatically connecting via your cellphone's data connection. Since you don't have a data plan, this could cost you lots of dollars and you wouldn't want that to happen.
