This may have been asked and answered before. I am also waiting for my power to go low to try it.

I am going on a few trips and was only going to bring my usb power cord and ac wall power adaptor. Is there a point when the battery gets too low to charge via the usb-wall ac power? I do not want to have to bring the power adaptor that plugs in via the 24 pin connector with me but I guess I will have no choice if the answer is yes?

Are there any affordable portable power supplies that plug into the 24 pin connector or come with the connector?
