Thx. I figure that if someone is interested in my selection criteria they would ask on one of the forums I visit. My first questions of them of course would be:
- What application or function are you trying to address?
- What products have you tried yourself?
- What did you like about each of them?
- What did you dislike about each of them?
You see, these mobile devices started out being called PDAs, the operative word in that acronym being
Personal. Your PDA needs to work for you, not for me. Conversely, My PDA needs to work for me, not you.
I figure the vendor websites can take on the job of describing the features and functions of their own products. That information, coupled with actual hands-on experience obtained via a trial install, and combined with the similar information obtained in similar fashion for other products, makes for a far more interesting discussion. Otherwise, it really just becomes either all one-sided, or breaks down into chest-thumping fanboy raves.
Whew! All that said, what do you like and dislike about the Calendaring solutions you have evaluated? :)
