It's accurate only when i press it hard, I am scared that i can hurth the screen behind touchscreen. I think that touch screen is low quality, i think is to hard and thick it should be softer. That is my rational thinking, because I dont have any other explenation. So far I'm really disappointed. I've seen that many people enjoy this PDA and I really want to explore and try.
If someone can give me advice about touch screen if someone had same problems?

I would like to put some information of my axim:

Model Dell Axim x51v
processor Type Intel PXA270
processor speed 624MHz
RAM Size 64MB
ROM Size 256 MB
ROM version A01 (08250500)

Microsoft windows mobile version 5.0 OS 5.1.1702 (Build 14366.1.0.1)

I give this information because I think that I should do some upgrade but I'm not sure witch one. So if anyone have time to explain me what should I upgrade. I've seen some axims that works a bit faster then mine. I assigned procesor speed 624, it's better but not fast as their. Does it depends on some cards, on some free memory? or if I upgrade will it change?

There is a lot of question I know, but whenever someone have some time
Thank you all in advance
You have the highest version of the X51 series. Despite its age, it should still be pretty speedy. Have you tried a hard reset to start completely fresh? You can also upgrade the OS to WM6.1:

Experimental/Beta WM6.1 ROMs for Axim X51v

There is also a 6.5 available but that is still in testing.

Note that the risks involved include completely bricking your device.

Regarding the touchscreen issue, have you tried re-aligning your screen? And if there's a screen protector installed, try removing it.
