Just to be clear, when you say "touchscreen" do you mean the physical screen that you have to open the Axim to change, or do you mean a thin plastic protective film that you place on the screen to stop it getting scratched?

If it is the protective layer it is called a screen protector.
They come in a wide variety of types, some good some very bad, and if they aren't applied correctly will not work well at all.
