Honestly ... if you are able to see the router when you are running with no security enabled, then you should be a ble to get out to the internet. Make sure that in your network settings page (on the PDA) you have selected "MY ISP" on both network options and that you have selected for the "My ISP" network to connect to the internet.
The key here is to get the internet settings all working before you even think to mess around with security. (Back to the basics)
