When my PC finishes syncing I click on Explore and the C: of my PC pops up. In the past the Axim file system would display like it's supposed to. Everything else in Active Sync works OK. Anybody seen this?

that is really odd ... considered you mentioned

"mobile device" within desktop windows explorer ??
