you are correct, my applogies, I shouldn't have flamed

Generally the japan made cards are free of issues, and sandisk cards are one of the over 10 brands with issues just so you know, anyways what I can suggest is using storagetools to format in FAT16 or FAT, not FAT32

If that doesn't help, contact I-O Data Devices and see if they have any tips or just simply return the card.

Try using a USB reader/writer if you are currently using an Axim to format, or if you are using a USB reader/writer, try a different one.
