I've been using SIPDiscount for a few months now and have experienced very few problems in terms of quality and/or service continuity. People have hypothesized that Finarea are keeping tabs on the numbers people are calling (presumably to sell to Telemarketers and the like) however that remains to be seen. I guess when something appears too good to be true, it usually is... Time will tell.
Someone else asked about a North American equivalent. Unfortunately I don't know of any 'free' calling equivalent (although they pop up from time to time) however I can certainly recommend a very cheap 'paid' service from
VBuzzer. They charge 1c/min to 20 countries and I've been using their service for quite a while now without any dramas.
