I scheduled the backup to occur at 1 AM. My Dell Axim x51v was in the charging cradle all night. I expected the backup to occur at that time. It did not. Instead, when I attempted to use the device at 7am, after I reset the device, because it was frozen, it began the backup at that time. I had the same problem all the time. This is a bug (not Spb but WM2003se & WM5)... I fixed this using Tweaks2k2 and adjusting:
Tweaks >>> System Tweaks >>> Collection 3 >>> Alarm Fix for WM2k3/5 (Set to 80).
... most people don't seem to have problems, but mine have always been an issue and this has been the fix. If you don't have Tweaks2k2 (I recommend it if you don't) then you should be able to find the Registry key for this by searching the site or google.
