3) Understood and at the present while trying to connect the Axim I don't use any security.
4) I assume you are talking about the MAC filter list; I can make the Axim show up as you stated but when I try and activate it my computer falls off of the internet and doesn't connect. I think that I am supposed to add the computers (PC) MAC address as well but I am unsure if I am doing that correctly or not. The computer shows up under the list and I thought that I had added it but again after I activate it I fall off the internet and can't connect.
5) I see the "advance" tab and the ip address but I can't find this tools tab you speak of. In any case the ip address seems pretty constant. Where is the tools tab?
5.1, 2, 3) I will be all too happy to ping myself if you could explain where the box is next to the start button. Which start button? Are you talking about the PC or the Axim? I don’t quite see exactly what you are talking about. This is a course of action I haven't yet tried yet, benots4, and so I am anxious to see if it works.
