For DivX files to playback on your desktop - maybe. It does have some nice features, though I haven't played enough with it yet to tell if there is actually any discernable increase in quality.

However, for Pocket PC, PocketMVP does not support any Pro features whatsoever. So if you're only interested in encoding DivX for PPC, don't waste the money on Pro (at least until PocketMVP supports it, if it ever does).
