(Mini Rant to follow - Sorry):exc:

Sounds like your admin doesn't have SSL setup on your Exchange server - BAD IDEA!!! No offense intended here (especially if you are the admin) but it sounds like you work for a small company, and the admin doesn't have a lot of experience securing exchange... so OMA might be a bit of a nightmare to get running.

Anyway, here's the thing - if you aren't using SSL to access your email I wouldn't access it remotely no matter what. Without SSL your email is passing plaintext over the air ... which means anyone with a laptop setup like mine can sit in the coffee shop you are in and read every email you access. If you access it anywhere on the road, chances are really good someone is listening.

OWA should never be used without SSL ... just one of those things your company should not allow to happen. You never mentioned the industry you are in, but in almost all cases you will eventually be accessing some kind of "important/confidential" company data via OWA, and also since it is plaintext your domain password will be transmitted "in the clear" as well... your company is just begging someone with bad intentions to come knocking down the door.

End Rant

Sorry ... had to be said. But, now that that's been said, it really sounds as though OWA is trying to redirect you after the logon ... and one of two things is happening -
1. You are not able to authenticate. This could be you logging on with a bad name/password... or it could be that you are having authentication issues with your Exchange server.
2. The server could be trying to redirect you to another webpage and PocketIE is failing to open the redirector... the big issue I have with a lot of PPC apps is they don't communicate issues very well to the end user. In most cases they fail without any kind of notification.

Does this happen with another browser? Try Minimo or Opera ... if you no longer have issues using either of these browsers you can blame PocketIE. If not, you have some more digging to do :)

Finally --- If you have an Internet Connection in your meetings, you can make the connection to your Exchange server over-the-air using OMA once it is set up properly. I check my email all the time, all I do is open ActiveSync and press the sync button. 100 times easier than using OWA through PocketIE. :approve:
