Thanks again for the fast response and I do not mind the rant, (I'm not responsable for it fortunately) I did talk to the guy and he assures me it's all secure, (but I'm not convinced) the business we're in is a little bespoke but the information would certinaly be useful to the competition when it comes to bidding for work etc..

I will try your suggestion of either Minimo or Opera, I down loaded the Opera files but the installation instructions refer to a .msi file which was not in the archive file, maybe i'll try Minimo and see how I get on with that.

Sorry to be such an idiot on these things.

Further to the note above, I have managed to install Minimo and I can log on with no problems (except te screen display but thats a different issue) looks like an issue withteh buit in Internet explorer.................
Still struggling with the Opera install though!
