Hot fixes and Windows Mobile Software

With the recent spat of hot fixes from M$ (for other products) I couldn't help but wonder if any patches/hot fixes will ever be made available from M$ for our Mobile OS.

After all we do have anti-virus software for our mobile devices so isn't the possibility of causing a buffer-overrun or other critical flaw (say in IE) exist.

Why should we be dependent on Dell for a hot fix that M$ releases? Shouldn't M$ have developed a better model for "their" product to ensure it runs satisfactory? (okay stop laughing)

Seriously (and please don't give me the "Windows Mobile is different" speech), viruses and exploits exists for just about every OS type (M$ or otherwise) so how long do you think until one will occur for WM5/2003SE
