The movie I did was Pirates of the Caribbean. Are some movies not able to be converted this way, or is there something else wrong?

The idea is that it should work for any movie regardless of any protection scheme. However, when the movie is ripped it uses alot of harddrive space. It creates several files, all of which you must delete, except for the actual movie file, which is the *.avi file. It's possible that you may have run out of harddrive space. This happened to me and I had to delete all the extraneous files. Check your harddrive and see how much space you have left.
