I don't really know how to solve your problem. However, I can help you with one of your questions. What is TCPMP? This is a free 3rd party media player which can play more than just .wmv files. It stands for "The Core Pocket Media Player." You can find out more and download here if you like:

I use it. I works well for the movies and files WM10 can not play. I hope this helps a little. Good luck with the rest.
