So, you want to run a HP48G emulator on your Axim? I made it work with this step-by-step sequence:
Installation:Setup:- Now start the program by tapping Emu48.exe (the extension may be hidden).
- You will be directed to choose a KML script. Choose the .kml script (EngrPaul Real QVGA 48Gx, if you like). Tap ok, then the calculator comes up.
- Tap No in response to Recover Memory?.
- You are now ready to rock. Press the On button on the calculator.
- Save the session (File, Save As...). Your work will still be there next time, and you don't have to select the .kml script.
I sure hope you know how to use a reverse-polish notation calculator. Download other keyboards (.kml) and other ROMs (hp39, hp49, etc) and experiment.
Notes: Under WinXP, without a dedicated .zip program, you can indeed unzip these files, but you have to extract them somewhere on your local hard drive before copying them over to the PPC.
You can also use a program, such as CabInstaller to place the program in Built-in Storage or a memory card.
EngrPaul also has a VGA .kml script, for those of you with a V. Link below.

Many thanks to the HP calculators website:

Thanks also to EngrPaul, for his version of the RealHP48 keyboard. It's my favorite: easy to read and good-looking. The keyboard, not Paul. Well, maybe Paul too, but I really don't know him well enough to say.
