yup I did have the keyboard.kmi there like you said in the tutorial.
I got mine working nicely now by following this solution,
1. download and install
this. It has all the ROMs and other files all packed together for everything to work.
2. download
this and replace the exe on PPC with this one (2003 update).
3. DONE!
