Um...I think you just said that the reason this is happening is because you have the ' On Batter Power: Turn off device...' thing checked. Isn't that what you said? If you have that checked then you have your answer. I use my x51v to listen to books while I drive, I just disable the auto-turn off, and instead, I have it dim after 15 seconds so it doesn't use so much power.

It didn't used to turn off while I was listening to WMP. It would time off if I just left other apps running. Maybe I was lucky before?
