Each 1 hour episode came out between 62mb to 85mb, and the movie I got down to 167mb. At these sizes, the quality is very good except for very dark scenes, where it tends to get "blocky" (large areas where similar colors were blended together into one large block). I reduced the video on each to fit the 640x480 screen size, and rotated the image 90 degrees for landscape mode.
I just saw that Fry's Electronics has an ad that runs until tomorrow on 4gb SD and CF cards for just $109.99 each, with NO rebates. (Renton, WA Fry's Ad)
I am really thinking about one of each!

Outpost.com (which is Frys online store) has the 4gb for $99.99 plus tax and shipping, today and tomorrow (5/3 and 5/4/06) but also says "call for availability). I put one in my shopping cart and went to go check out and it didn't have any problems with that (I didn't actually complete the sale though)
