The GPS update is available free (assuming you've got the Dell package with Navteq based maps. Go to
http://www.navteq.com/updates/updates_handheld.html
and follow the links for Dell products/software updates and download the software patch CAREFULLY.
I had no problems - and it seems to have corrected some of the navigation errors as well.
Still not altogether happy with Windows Mobile 5 though..........
