QuarterPixel (QPM) and GlobalMovementCompensation (GMC) has long been a problem. Many hardware players like AivX (Sarotech) and most standard DVD players with DivX capabilities has likewise problems.
MP4 should not be a problem for TCPMP except with sound. Usually Advanced Audio Codec (AAC - Sony) is used. As this is a copyright-heftet codec Core can't touch this - but a plugin is available at rarewares (se link in MyPDA)
Remember that Mabin has made an excellent
subtitle viewer (another link in MyPDA). Unfortunately it does not support SRT files but only SMI - there are converters to do this.
