I had been happily using a Palm for about the last 6 years. Then two weeks ago I upgraded to an Axim X51 & absolutely love it! I am kicking myself for not switching sooner.
I think Palm only has 1 expansion slot where Axim has SD & CF slots. FREE software was a huge consideration for me as well & so far, thanks to Aximsite.com, I have found more freeware than I know what to do with. Good luck.
