Honestly. Considering styletap (PPC software) can emulate Palm OS.....that doesn't even make it a consideration.
Conversely Palm cannot emulate WinMobile so.....
Plus with a large freeware base....you can guarantee repetition. How many of those could be say browser plugins and replacements? Quality over quantity on any given day. Would you load 20 or so apps to get the equivalent of one PPC app? Hypothetically....not saying it is so.....
Palm may not be dead and I really hope plinux comes soon.....but Palm is not winning anything. WinMobile has at present a much larger market share and in smartphones....it is Rim, makers of the Crackberry.
