Two uses a Palm has difficulty in:
Networking; An X50v can access networked shares out of the box. Plus some freeware can VNC, Remote Access, Run network diagnostics.
GPS; I'm not at present aware of too many Palm based mapping solutions other than Mapopolis and the PPC one is considerably better.
