Having been a longtime Palm user, when I got a iBook I got rid of my x50v and purchased a TX. Multitasking or lack thereof drove me crazy! I sold my Palm and am waiting for a x51v that I purchased on Aximsite! If you want to be able to take notes as you look things up online, the Axim is definitely the way to go since you have to open and close applications (thus starting over) every time you go back and forth on a Palm vs. minimizing and opening the apps you are using on a Axim.
