Um... where did this nonsense come from? This might be the case if you are using an old version of Outlook, but I'm using Outlook 2002 (which is the same version bundled with the Axim) with no problems what-so-ever. I downgraded to Windows Mobile 2003 as I found my flash was less reliable than my ram, but I had no sync problems when I was running WM5.

Furthermore, Word and Outlook share the same common contacts :) Do you have your Outlook contacts in a custom Outlook folder instead of the default?
