Are any of the programs you installed mapped to the buttons? If so, do you do any changing of directories after you have assigned the various buttons to the progams. Do you have the most up to date ROM?
WM5 or WM2003SE?
What happens if you try to go in and reassign the buttons after getting this error - do the buttons work after that?
Does a soft reset do anything for it?

I'll watch for some responses and hopefully get some good info :)
