Thanks for the quick replies! I far as I know no programs I installed were mapped to a button. I have ROM version A03. I tried reassigning a different function to each button and they all worked before and after a soft reset. Then I reassigned the original functions to each button and again they worked before and after a soft reset. Hooray! I didn't get an extended warranty and have had the thing for more than a year, so I hope this has fixed it. Thanks again for your help.
