gps software advice, iguidance, x51v

I am looking into some gps software and hardware for my x51v. The software that I am considering buying is iguidance. I have a few questions:

1. Does iguidance give you a way of plotting a course using specific roads ahead of time?
2. If a wrong turn is made, does the software recalculate the course? If so does it reroute you back to the original course, or will it recalc the entire course? (IE. I am going to South Carolina from Pennsylvania, I do not want to take I95, if I start down I79 to I77, will it take me back to I95 or give me new directions(understand?,lol) , this is the route I want to take http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=e...beach,+sc&om=1 )

I need to move between states so TomTom is out for me. I would like to be able to plan my route ahead of time. Based on this is iGuidance still a good choice for my needs? If not what should I look into. As it stands I am planning to purchase the iGuidance bundle with the OnCourse Sirf star GPS receiver. Thanks for any advice
