Mobility Site - View Single Post - connects but will loose connection within a minute

had X50v and got it replaced with X51v.
installed Active Sync 4 and have problems.
after 2 re-installs I finally got all data from outlook synchronized.
every minute or so, Active sync shows "not connected".
so it took me about 20 attemps to move all data from outlook to my unit.
now it is acting up with installation as well.

what should I try first?
looks like this will be a long night to fix all of this...
