My IPAQ 36xx broke down about a week ago, I had a look 'round, saw the HP2215, but decided for the AXIM, because of price, more ROM and esp. the record and 'rocker' button - which I tend to use a lot.
I read about the probs the day after. Cursed myself ever after. I am expecting delivery tomorrow: I'll give it ONE go and send it back immediatly if only half of the rumours appear to be true! No time to wait for patches which only exist in newsgroups.
What's more, they'll have to do a lot of convincing before I buy anything Dell!
