I bought DeLorme's Xmap Street Atlas Handheld Edition for my Ipaq 3950 pocket pc. It will allow you to create a route. However, .... if for some reason you get off the route, it does NOT reroute you. You are simply out of luck. For this reason, (and others) I no longer use Xmap Street Atlas Handheld Edition. I'm using Mapopolis now and I'm VERY happy with it. Let me point out that I'm using the Navigator version of Mapopolis which allows 'active' guidance (rerouting and voice). If you get off route, Mapopolis will know it and reroute you all within 7 seconds. It also displays names of upcoming roads at intersections. A real nice feature. And true-heads-up display.
