That is possible. Incase you already have icons you want to use as custom icons, all you have to do is place them in the WA2 skin folder and rename them to custom icons.
Open the Expea 2 skinfile with Notepad and in the [ Buttons ] section you will find 'Custom 1 and Custom 2' values. After the = you will see a name. Rename the files to those names.
