I just received my x51v and began installing programs. After a while, I decided to do the fake server hack. Not sure if this caused my delimma, but I can't ignore the coincidence. A couple of things are happening:

Every so often, I get an ActiveSync error after plugging in my PDA. Not sure what triggers it, although it did happen after soft-resetting the PDA while in the cradle (USB connected). The error is effectively an illegal operation. The message displays on my laptop and PDA. I also have an iPAQ hx4705 w/ WM2003SE sync'ing to the laptop (2 AS profiles). No problems w/ the iPAQ, nor did I notice issues w/ my Axim until the hack.
Device.exe error pops up on the PDA every so often after just sitting in the cradle. It happened a few minutes ago. The only thing open was SuperTasks diplaying CPU usage (I was montoring it to watch filesys.exe CPU utilization over time).
How can I turn off the irritating "unknown publisher ..." message each time I install a program?
