Follow these instructions very very carefully and you will be able to overclock the 540 series to varying amounts:
- Switch on the machine (this can be achieved by depressing the button located towards the bottom of the PDA in the centre)
*Warning ensure that you have earthed yourself at this point. This may be achieved by removing the mains plug from the base unit, and holding the earth pin with your free hand (Of course the PDA must be located in the base) This creates a negative influx deionised particle field and ensures that no parts are damaged throughout this process.
-Next bring up the today screen (easily identified by the large today letters accross the screen)
*Remember to keep yourself earthed, and do not under any circumstances run up and down your living room dragging your feet whilst performing this operation
-In the righthand top corner of the screen you should now be able to see some numbers, separated by a colon, place your stylus on this area and hold for 2 seconds.
*Remember to keep yourself earthed and do not rub a balloon up and down your jumper and then place it next to the unit.
-You should now be able to see a series of letters and numbers all highlighted, again place the stylus in this area hold for a period of about one second and release quickly.
Two dials should now appear down the left hand side of the screen.......................
*Remember to keep yourself earthed, yet another method of achieving this is to place a bucket of soil under your work place and stick your bare feet in whilst doing this job (if you suffer from eczema be sure to use only bio friendly materials).
-You now have several means of adjusting the clock, either by moving the long pointy things in a clockwise direction, or using the arrow symbols on the right or overwriting the actual numbers.
If all has gone well you should now have a machine that finishes something before you started.
**WARNING be careful to ensure that you do not move the long pointy things on the round type thing anticlockwise, for this will have the effect of seriously slowing down you PDA, and may mean that you have to wait several hours before an action takes place.
