So can I convert DVD's into mpeg in order to get them onto my Dell Axim? By the way, the Axim plays Audio/Video really well and the sound is superb; only problem is battery consumption if you were out and about away from the charger!

There are a couple tutorial in this forum converting DVDs to PPC friendly files. It is a bit time consuming but there is a certain cool factor when you show your friends what that Ax can do.
I'm taking a bus ride to Texas later this year.. roughly 24 hours. By then I'll have a 4 gig SD card which could hold 16 movies easily. That, along with nearly 2 gigs of music (35 hours I think) and a battery extender I'll have plenyy of entertainment at my fingertips.
