While there is a limit (unknown to me) to the access speed my X51V has I still buy the fastest card possible for these reasons. In case I upgrade the card and use it elsewhere it speed would be of value. I carry additional information from my PC on my card(s) that are not Axim related so speed is of value while the card is inserted into a card reader.
