I have an x5 advanced and I use divx which is an .avi alot with tcpmp and also use mpeg with tcpmp. They both work great. I use fairuse to make divx and virtual dub to make divx and mpeg and my files come out to around 100-150 Mb/30 mins at 320x240@15fps. If you have audio lagging behind the video its the program you used to encode the video thats the problem or you computer hd wasnt defragged before encoding. I use wmp for .wmv but I rarely use this format even though you can compress it more. Wmp just doesnt play video well without stuttering on decent bitrates. Divx files can be compressed more than mpeg without lossing too much quality. Mpeg can produce great quality but takes more memory and processing power to play them.
