I'm in a similar boat... I'll be hanging tight for another week or so awaiting the patch. Although I have little faith in Dell customer service, I have complete faith that when the patch/update is available that my Axim will be no worse than it is now. ;) I too paid $257 for an Advanced... a screaming deal IMO... so I'm not in a rush to return it just yet.
