I just got my DLink 660W CF card yesterday and rushed home to play with it. I also got the DLink 713P wireless router a week earlier. The router works - even the onboard print server is working. I installed the software for the CF card and followed every instruction to the letter and NOTHING. I then went to the DLink site and read all the FAQ's I could stand - It boiled down to upgrading the firmware on the router. So around midnight I upgrade the firmware.
My 'wireless' gateway doesn't have a 'wireless' configuration tab now <_< There is no way to configure the SSID, Channel and the other junk you need to configure.....
:( So I decided to do a hard reset and hope to wipe out the upgraded firmware to factory specs.... No luck...... But upon rebooting everything (the Ax, computer, router, cable modem) - I got a signal! but at 1Mbps <_<
I talked with DLink at 1 am and they said that I should have a 'wireless' tab in my gateway config screen - but I don't.....
So I guess I'm screwed?
Should I send the router back?
I'm just mad
Heck I have 30 days.... ;) I will keep trying :D
