I'm relatively new to PDA's - my Axim is my first ever and I only got it in April 2003 - but thanks largely to this forum have grown in confidence with using it. What I did was a FULL Backup using the built in application to my desktop then I just backup changed files periodically. I also copy the contents of my SD cards to the desktop using AS. I did a hard reset recently to clear off a lot of trial clutter and restored from the desktop - it worked fine. One of my SD cards managed to lose its data (it was a 'made in China one' but not the infamous SanDisk) recently tool, and I was able to simply copy back the lost data also from my desktop. I'm not bothered about backing up indvidual files as I also have Resco File Explorer and that allows me to delete/remove anything that I don't want easily enough. Just my tuppenth! :hide:
