Hmm. The 128 MB SanDisk I have acted up again. I was prompted to format after everything was wiped clean. No choice, so sure.

On re-start the only thing on it were the Temporary Internet Files which get there through the Registry hack. Glad this still works.

To exercise the card vigorously, I synced up and copied a bunch of stuff. The Axim PDF manual (about 1MB), and some LIT files. On copying the second LIT file (about 400 KB), I got a message that the card was full. Checking System memory, the card indicated about 105 MB available space, but when I "Explored" the card from the activesync window on the desktop PC, it was full of un-named folder icons with a . behind each. And sure enough that zero length file mentioned above was there too.

I deleted all the strange folders from the desktop explore and was then able to continue copying files to it.

I then unsynced and fired up wirelessly and started up Pocket Outlook. My current mail loaded up including one with a large word document attached. I opened the attachment and did a "Save As" to the SD Card. It copied fine to the card and it opens up in Pocket word just fine from that location.

We'll see how this goes from here. I'm clueless. Will that zero length file on there be the magic bullet?
