Activesync Problem Solved
I recently solved a problem with Activesync, and I don't think the solution has been posted anywhere here, and I thought it might help some people:
When I first got my x51v, I had a lot of problems with the device not being able to connect to Activesync via USB. It would work fine for a little while, then Activesync would refuse to recognise the device and I'd have to delete the connection and create a new one.
Then I noticed that it only happened when I was running Winamp. I tried switching to Musicmatch and it did the same thing. Then I tried a free player called dbPowerAmp, which didn't cause any problems. Unfortunately I really hated the program. I had a hunch that it had something to do with the fact that Winamp and Musicmatch have their own features for syncing with portable devices. So I tried installing the "lite" version of Winamp, which doesn't have that feature and, sure enough, the problem hasn't come back yet.
So, if you're having problems similar to mine, you might want to try downgrading your MP3 player!
