Hi Tomcat,
This is a typical scenario with corrupt files in Windows....
Does it happen to most of your programs? If yes, you probably have a corrupt Windows system file and you need to restage your computer.
If not, Simply try uninstalling and reinstalling the Activesync. Make sure you do it thro' the Add/Remove programs and reboot the system after uninstalling AS and reinstalling AS.
