Okay, guys. I tried to download warring states myself. It says that it should be a zip file, but I can't get it to download in a zipfile. It comes up an unreadable file when downloaded. Any idea's? I downloaded Viking Saga and Cities with no problems...

Just tried it, did the same for me. Added
.zip to the end of the 'warring' file in windows explorer and it opened fine then.
